Unlock mobile phone from vodafone

You can discover the unique IMEI number of your phone by entering the number #06# on the keypad.

To unlock a phone means different things to Vodafone, so they may have been confused. See here

If you are in Australia there is an unlock tool on the Vodafone site

Bought a unlocked Samsung galaxy 3 off eBay.... I used it with my optus network sim but after a week when I switch off my phone & switch it back on... It was asking for a Vodafone puk... How & why is this...

It is possible that unlock was done by non-professional or by entering not factory-unlock. Now you're in problems. If you're not technically literated then bring it to cell-unlock shop.

Nokia 6233

Hello James,

I guess your looking for a free way to unlock your phone to all networks...
There are many options available on the net. and i have come across a few free ones aswell..
I have a nokia 6630 which was gifted to me by my friend.. I went to have it unlocked at my local phone shop (the usual price is £5) he told me that there was some internal damage to the phone as someone had previously tried to unlock it via the net.. and that it could be unlocked but would cost me anything from £25.00 onwards..
Therefore, my advice would be that you get it done locally.. even if it costs...
All the Best
