That you go to Add/Remove Programs and try to remove it that way. If that doesnt work I have a method that HP gave me that will also work.

Ok this is one of my two options since I cannot install the software to give a exact no fail answer for ya:

    1) Open My Computer
    2) Go to Program Files
    3) Look for something called Quick Heal
    4) Open that folder and then look for one of the following files:
[Note: * 's are Widcards: Meaning anything after or in place of that is fine.]
unins*.exe, uninst.exe or anything called Uninstall or like it.

If you see one run it as it will most likely work and remove it for you.

Also in some rare cases there is a Setup.exe that has the capability of removing the software as well.

My second option would be to if you can find the Quick Heal folder is to click the folder once to highlight it, Hold Shift and press Delete to permenantly delete it and then go about something that works but I warn you if you do any mistakes can cause issues:

    1) Go to Start > Run
    2) Then type cmd and hit enter.
    3) Once you see the run Dialog type: msconfig
    4) Press Enter
    5) Go to the services tab and uncheck any box that in the manufacturer says Quick Heal in any means or is in the Startup Item Part.
    6) Go to the Services tab and before you do anything check the "Hide all Microsoft services"
    7) Look under Service and Manufacturer for things labeled Quick Heal and uncheck them
    8) Click Apply and then Ok and then then the reboot option.

This process should manually remove Quick Heal but I suggest you only do this for this program.

    I sincerely hope this helps.

Only keep in mind to substitute the Quick Heal for whatever it is your are trying to uninstall.

Here is something that should work also... It comes from a removal website.

You can also get it removed since its a spyware app from the Yahoo Toolbar since they offer a CA Antispy to help you remove the software.

Can use pc speakers and plug them in the back to the earphones socket will it work

Yes. Keep in mind that the volume is adjusted on the computer. If you do not have a volume icon on the start bar, you need to click on start and type in Control Panel, click on the first Control Panel that appears. When the new window opens, click on Hardware and sound. Then look for Adjust sound volume, and click on it. Then adjust speaker sound and system sound.

Why does the cursor go up and down the screen continually out of control. How can I fix it

possible cause would be the sensitivity of your mouse, if you can navigate to control panel then access mouse settings then change the setting to satisfy your need. If the problem still exist then better to use USB mouse for a peace of mind.
Hope it helps. Thanks

go to control panel, and look for the mouse option, or try to look for the synaptics option on the taskbar. you can configure the sensitivity and other settings there.

My mouse has stopped working

The mouse buttons may have been swapped from LH to RH or vice versa.
Go to Control panel - Mouse - Buttons tab - in Button configuration click the selection box (Switch primary and secondary buttons) with the right button on the mouse.
If you have used the wrong mouse button then select it again with the correct button.
Then click Apply and then OK.

How to brighten the monitor during battery use ?

Have a look in the power options in control panel in windows. You should be able to change this setting in there. Bear in mind however that your battery will run down faster if you turn up the brightness.

Wireless connection will not turn on has x ove signal strength tried using window flag plus x shows icons all work except wireless con wont turn on

I am going to assume that you never had wireless connection with your 3680. With that in mind, Go into Control Panel to make sure your wireless connection can "see" other network routers. Control Panel>Network and Internet Connections>Network Connection. When you start the search for networks, this should turn your wireless adaptor on to perform the search. If you get a message that you do not have a wireless adaptor, use the Wireless Network Setup Wizard.

Good Luck

All works fine but computer will not go online, either by usb modem or broadband connection

Go to control panel, then go to internet properties. Make sure your device is enabled. Including wireless and LAN connections.

Keep in mind that you will have to unplug your router for 10 seconds and plug back in to remove static discharge. This is commom
