No, unfortunately there's no way to batch insert a date to a bunch of photos you've already taken. If you're wanting a date on all the photos I'd suggest going into the menu and there's an option so that the date and time is recorded onto the photos.
The "wrench" is NOT a button, it is an icon in the menu.
Press the MENU button.
Press the Right/Left button to select the "WRENCH" icon
The Setup menu appears in the center of the LCD. 3.
Press the Up/Down buttons to select the Date option in the Setup menu.
Press the MENU button.
Press the Up/Down buttons to select a Date option from the Menu that appears:
On selecting "On" the date will appear on the photo once it is taken. •
On selecting "Off" no date will appear on the photo. •
On selecting "Set Date" the Set Date settings screen will appear. You will be able to •
change the date settings that will appear on the photo once it is taken.
To Set the date:
Press the Up/Down button to enter Set date option. 1.
Press the MENU button. 2.
Press the Right/Left button to select and highlight the Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute, 3.
Second and Date Format type. Press the Up/Down button to set the Date, time and

To put the date stamp in a picture do this:
1) Make sure you have the correct date and time set in the camera. To do this:
Push the function/set button. Press the directional button down to select Date and Time.
Push the directional button to the right then down or up to set the date and time. Then press the function/set button to save it.
2) Push the selector button up to the camera icon, and press function/set. Scroll down to Date Stamp.
Scroll right to turn on the Date and Time Stamp, then up or down to until it says On.
Press function/set when your done.
That is your solution. Remember once the date/time stamp is embedded in a picture, you can't take it out.
