Hi I need the driver for Missil A920 I lost the cd....can any one upload it for me

  • kaleidosc952 May 11, 2010

    Hey J P Angel!

I think you're talking about another product. Missil A920 doesn't have any menu. It looks a lot like Ipod shuffle, so there's no display. It has 5 buttons only(volume up&down, forward, rewind and play/pause) and apparently no built in mic (as written on the box).

Please let me know if we are talking about the same thing.

These made in China MP4 players are quite budget ... however,I'vemanaged to get mine working just fine. Just follow these steps:

1.Charge the unit. (These things come with a dead power supply, soyou'llhave to to charge it with the provided USB cable... or any cablesuch asone that works with a camera. you'll not be able to load it orturn iton until this has been done. 3 hours later your computer willdetect newhardware (USB mass storage device) and install theappropriate drivers.

2. Loading MP3's... there are 2 ways to go about this...

a) If you have the latest Windows media player click on the SYNC tab and follow the directions.

b)Open "My Computer" you should be able to see a new drive (probablyE: F:or G:) double click to expand it, you should see a bunch offolders, simply drag and drop your MP3s to the Music folder.

3.Converting and Loading Video: The included program that comes withthesecheap-*** players is a bag of $#@! so dont even bother with it.

The best program to convert videos to work on this thing can be found HERE

-Pick the first one (note:this file is zipped so will need to extract it),
pick up a trial version of WinRar HERE

-Once extracted, go ahead and run the program...click ADD

Choose your input file, and output path,

Youwill need to know the resolution of your screen. Under Playertype, choose SUNPLUS AVI and select the video resolution of yourMissil, 30frames/sec and the best sound/video quality and hit start.

- this process takes a while (30-60 min) depending on file size.

- Once complete, simply drag and drop (cut and paste) the converted file to to the VIDEO folder on the players drive.

3.Finally disconnect the player from the computer, it will say"pleasewait.. building playlist" once this is done you're good to go

I hope this has been helpful... and please... dont forget to rate this solution.

I have an 8 gb missil mp3 player and the LCD display lights up when i plug it into a USB port to charge. I have noticed that only certain usb ports will work though so try another port maybe. Perhaps your motherboard isnt connected to the usb peripherals on the front of your tower so try the usb ports on the back for the best results. You should also install latest drivers for your motherboard. peace.

Yes you can use it as a voice recorder. I just bought mine (love it) so I'm pretty new to it. I've installed all the programs (media manager, AMV Player/Import) so lets see.
Go into Record on the menu and simply push the play button and talk. When you're done, hold menu and it'll take you back to the main menu. Now go in to the Play Record Files (shortened but I can't think of the name) and you should be able to find your recording. Pretty neat if you ask me.
As for the guy with the charging problem, try to take it out. Then do it again. I don't really know because mine worked perfectly. Try plugging it in the USB without it being on. Then let it charge which should turn it on by it's self. Or hold the Menu button and finally if that doesn't work, hold the play button.
Sorry JC I haven't a clue as to what you're talking about.

The battery is not charging

You can try and reset the player. resetting a Clip player: 1. Slide and hold the Power switch up for approximately 20 seconds. 2. Release the Power switch. 3. To turn the player on, slide the Power switch up then release instantly.
Some things to check for when your player does not act like its taking a charge.
USB Cable Make sure that the USB cable is properly plugged in and use the original cable that came with your player.
Computer in Hibernation mode Make sure the computer isn't entering hibernation or sleep mode while the device is connected. The computer must be ON in order to charge your player.
USB Port 2.0 Make sure the player is connected to a USB 2.0 port (1.1 occasionally causes charging problems).
USB Port location Try plugging into different USB ports (i.e. USB port in the back of the computer); occasionally the front USB ports have limited power to charge up the device.
Battery Make sure the battery is fully charged. It takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge the battery.
Latest firmware Depending on what Sansa player you have, make sure it's up to date with the latest firmware.
AC charger (optional) AC chargers (sold separately) have a 500-1000 milliamp max output, which provides much better charging ability than a USB port.

The mp3 player won't charge when I plug it into the computer and my wife's won't accept any more playlist

I dont know about the playlist. But if the Sansa LION battery goes too low it shuts down. When you plug it into your computer to charge the player, It usually powers up so the computer can detect the hardware being plugged into the USB port and provide power for charge.
You need to plug in the USB cable from the player to the PC and perform a system reset - Press and hold for 20 seconds the power on button and the play button (>||). this should work you may try it on your wifes player?

Charging the mp3mp4 player

  1. Get a USB wall charger. These are AC adapters that plug directly into the outlet. You then plug the USB from your MP3 into the port on the adapter.
  2. Charge your MP3 player on the go. There are also charging kits that plug into the cigarette lighter or power plug in your car. These kits come with a DC power adapter that has a port on the end for you to plug in your MP3.
  3. Acquire Apple iPod specific chargers. When you need to charge your iPod music player through an outlet, look for the Universal USB car charger or the Universal USB travel charger made specifically for Apple products.
Make sure that you have your player on a power strip or surge protector so that if you get a surge you wont fry your player.

Uploading songs onto the Missil flashMP3 player

Hi There,                First you have to charge it up fully by plugging it into the computer with the usb cable it came with. if yo have windows 2000 or higher you don't need to install the software it came with. It takes 4 hours to fully charge. Shut your MP3 missil player off and the plug it back into the computer with the cable it came with. Microsoft window plug and play should automatically indentify the devive as a storage device. All you do from there is drop and drag your mp3 songs iinto the storage folder in your device. Enjoy your new device
