I have a Simpson 1043 10kg top loader, it is displaying e90 intermittently before the spin cycle, e90 is supposed to be a communication error, any ideas?

If your Simpson 1043 10kg top loader is displaying an E90 error code intermittently before the spin cycle, it typically indicates a communication error between the control board and another component in the machine. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check for loose connections: Make sure all connections between the control board and other components, such as the motor and the door lock, are secure and not loose or corroded.
  2. Inspect the wiring harness: Check the wiring harness that runs between the control board and other components for any signs of damage or wear. Replace the wiring harness if necessary.
  3. Perform a reset: Try resetting the machine by turning it off at the power source for a few minutes, then turning it back on. This can sometimes clear up communication errors.
  4. Check the control board: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it's possible that there is a problem with the control board itself. A qualified technician can test the control board to determine if it needs to be repaired or replaced.
It's important to address any issues with your washing machine promptly to prevent further damage or more costly repairs down the line. If you are unsure about any of the steps involved in troubleshooting the E90 error code on your Simpson 1043 top loader, it's best to contact a qualified appliance repair technician for assistance.

I have a toshiba estudio 3530C. I just replaced the finisher and am now getting a C580 error code. Can you tell me how to remove that so I can use the machine?

Communication error between IPC board and
finisher.

(1) Confirm the setting of 08 Code 1912.
(2) Check if the specified finisher is attached.
(3) Check if the harness connecting the IPC board and the finisher controller PC board is
disconnected or open circuited.
(4) Check if the conductor pattern on the IPC board is short circuited or open circuited.
(5) Check if the conductor pattern on the finisher controller PC board is short circuited or open
circuited.
(6) Replace the IPC board.
(7) Replace the finisher controller PC board.

Need help with my washer with a code on the panel

The "F06" fault code indicates a drive motor tachometer error. This means the control is unable to properly detect motor speed and the machine will shut down. If the failure occurs during high-speed spin, the door will unlock after 3 minutes.

Possible Causes/Procedure:

Unplug washer or disconnect the power supply.

Check the wire harness connections between the motor and motor control unit and the harness connections between the motor control unit (MCU) and the Central Control Unit (CCU).

Based on your symptom and details, the intermittent (F06) error code is likely a loose connection in the harness between the motor and the (MCU) or between the (MCU) and the (CCU). It could also be the tachometer circuit in the motor or an intermittent internal component connection within the (MCU). if the (CCU) has already been replaced, the failure is likely a loose harness connection or the (MCU).

Cyan ATC sensor failure. Error code 14. I replaced developer and did ATC sensor setup. Still having issue.

Yellow ATC Sensor Failure,Code12
Magenta ATC Sensor Failure,Code13
Cyan ATC Sensor Failure,Code14
The ATC Sensor detects an insufficient amount of developer.

Note
If this failure reoccurs three times successively, an Engine NVRAM value is set preventing further printer use until the Clear Tech Rep Fault (see pg.6-20) is performed.

Troubleshooting Procedure
Step Actions and Questions Yes No 1 Is the problem toner and/or developer empty. Replace the toner or developer. Go to step 2. 2 Is the ATC sensor clean and free of dust, toner or any other contaminates? Go to step3. Clean the ATC sensor. 3 1.Check the ATC sensor wiring harness Yellow=P/J129
Magenta=P/J130 Cyan=P/J131
2.Is the wiring harness or the sensor defective? Replace the ATC Sensor and/or wiring harness. Go to step 4. 4 1.Remove the Rear Cover and RearShield.
2.Measure the voltage at...Yellow=P405B3 Magenta=P405B8 Cyan=P405A10
on the engine control board.
3.Is the voltage between+1 and
+3VDC? Replace the engine control board. Go to step 5. 5 1.Measure the voltage at...Yellow=P405B14 Magenta=P405B11 Cyan=P405A11
on the engine control board.
2.Is the voltage+5VDC? Replace the engine control board. Go to step 6. 6
1.Measure the voltage at...Yellow=P405B2 Magenta=P405B9 Cyan=P405A9
on the engine control board.
2.Is the voltage 0VDC? Replace the engine control board.
Go to step7.
7
1.Remove the Imaging Unit Plate cover.
2.Inspect the wiring harness between the engine control board and the developer housing assembly.
3.Is the wiring harness defective? Replace the wiring harness.
Replace the ATC Sensor.

Frigidaire Affinity washer (LAFW3511KW0) with an E41 error. I have unplugged to reset (no change), checked the stricker (fine), removed outer seal and disconnected and reattached (I also received an E41...

Install the door lock/switch assembly with the door switch harness disconnected but "jumped". Jump a wire between the wire harness terminals and if the error code (E41) stops appearing when the machine is started, the door lock/switch assembly is indeed faulty and needs to be replaced.

jahn27_554.jpg

Check the continuity of the door switch harness connecting the switch and terminal J2 of of the control board if the error code (E41) still appears every time the machine is started after putting a jumper wire between the door switch harness terminals.

jahn27_555.jpg
jahn27_556.jpg

Make sure the connectors are clean and snugly connected to both. Replace the wire harness if you are skeptical about its condition. Disconnecting the door switch wire harness (J2) from the control board and putting a jumper wire between the leads of terminal J2 on the control board will directly confirm the condition of the wire harness and the board itself. The wire harness is the problem and must be replaced if the error code E41 stops appearing. On the other hand, consider replacing the control board if the error code still flashes even when the leads of terminal J2 on the board is shorted ("jumped").

I have an F11 code

Washer will suddenly stop with 1 minute left on cycle and shows the F11 error code...at times it may show the FdL code. The washer will then not finish no matter what I do. If I unplug the unit from the outlet that does not guarantee that when I plug it back in it will start up. Fifty percent of the time it still shows the F11 error. It can take hours to finally get the washer to cancel out so I can take the laundry out that has not been spun out.

The F11 error code indicates a serial communication problem between the central control board and the motor control board. This can be caused by:

  • A loose or failed wire harness connection between the central control board and the motor control board.
  • A bad wire harness connection between the motor control board and the drive motor.
  • A failed drive motor.
  • A defective motor control board.
  • A failure in the central control board.

The diagnosis of this failure usually requires a technician. If you are able to unplug the washer and safely access the central control board and motor control board, you can check for a loose wire harness connection.

F DL Error Code

If you were already experiencing the F11 error code and now experiencing the Fdl error, this more than likely is a failure of the Main Control Board. F11 is a serial communications error associated with the Main Control Board, while the Fdl error is either a failed Main Control Board and/or door latch. You can replace the door latch first to see if the error goes away, but I would almost bet you have a control board problem since you were already experiencing an intermittent error code associated to it. Let me know if you have any further questions.
