I have a 2007 suzuki swift the car have an accident up on repair i lost the radio code how can i decode to recode or get the radio to play again i contact my dealer in Kingston jamaica but now help

Get the title and go to the closest dealership with proof of ownership you can request the unlock code from them or get an aftermarket stereo and installation kit and put a new stereo in it! That's the easiest solution I can offer!

Cd player plays but has a loud bleep

Sounds like it needs recoding. Try entering the radio code, if you don't have it, your Citroen dealer may be able to help.

I had a new battery put in my car and after the battery was put in, the stereo won't work. I am wondering why that would happen

Does it require a Security Code to be entered?

If you do not have it then read below

===============================================

First make sure that the code has not been noted somewhere within the car (underneath the ash tray, glove box , rear of sun visor etc)

To see if your code is available here  for free then the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard (and if you are lucky, someone may have written the code on the casing ) .

If not then POST A BRAND  NEW  QUESTION

quoting the radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL the LETTERS+NUMBERS on ANY LABELS ,BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING

Also quote the MAKE of CAR

note: Unfortunately not all radios can be decoded using the Serial Number

Otherwise try your Main Dealer ...........or take it into a Decode Service who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM). This takes a few minutes and shouldn`t be too expensive

Radio needs to be reset, I have no code.

Unfortunately KENWOOD codes are not available for free from anywhere on the Internet.

Try your local Radio Decoding Service or Car Radio / Audio Store ...who will connect it to a laptop and read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

Try the following to recover the radio code: http://www.a2dvoices.com/realitycheck/porsche/index.html

Locked radio

This is a different type coded stereo. These stereos communicate with the car's computer. The dealership is the only one that can recode this stereo to communicate with the car's computer to work. I have seen the dealership charge over $100 for this ten minute process, I have also seen them do it for free. If you are not happy with the recode quote, call another dealership.
