Yow poeri, i suspect your system is too slow for burning DVD(s). (A) Yuo may need a 2.+ prosser, faster bus speed, with 512 memory, to burn any faster than 2hr. (B) your burn time will depend largely on the duration of your mavie. (C) Check what is the system requiremeent for burning DVD(s).

You might check with your manufacture and make sure it's 2.0, I known some PC's to come with 1.02 REV2.

Also the best way to check a USB if its working check the following pins on the USB and grab a DMM and measure them.

- From PIN 1 to PIN 4 should measure 5.0V if it's working correctly.

Double check with to see if an updated CardBus driver is available for the Laptop, not the accessory. also look for Chipset and BIOS updates.

Also check out the ZUN220 manufacturer site for a new driver as well.

Your problem is a power overload on the USB 2.0 card. If you plug in a 5volt power supply to the USB 2.0 PCM/CIA card, it will solve your problem. You can also use any USB port on your computer to plug in an A-A USB cable to power the PCM/CIA card and it should resolve the lockup. Also, check and make sure you have enough RAM memory in your comptuer for Windows XP. Recommend 512, but runs much better on 1024 (1 gig) of RAM.

I have the same problem when connecting my ipod and usb hard drive. I think the card is just a piece of crap. I've also tried a different card before but had no luck either. I guess its time to get a new laptop.
