Have you changed out your guitar cable? Also, if you have a broadcast antenna close to your practice area, that could be your problem. Try moving your amp to another location and see what happens. If it picks up stations at different locations that are miles apart, call Marshall...the amp is defective.
You may be now living too close to a radio station. Sometimes when this is the situation, anything electronic gear plugged into a wall socket can act like an antenna, thus receiving signals from local radio stations.
My XHD6425 seems to be very inconsistent... Sometimes I get okay reception, other times I get terrible reception (much worse than my original stock Ford radio). The reception problems are more noticeable on stations that are more than 30 miles away or so.
Perhaps oddest of all, I've sometimes had it bounce back and forth between two stations (like if you are driving and in the middle of nowhere, half way between two stations), even in areas where I know should be getting good reception on one station and had never heard of the other other station before.
If you've figured anything out, please let me know.
First of all I would call the radio station and let the know that there over modulating just a bit.this has happened to me a few times even on my tel/phone. I use to get WOKO on my amp. You can try and move the amp to diffrent location , reverce the polarty switch on the back , not much more you can do. But watch out when you here music comming from you toster your in big trouble, just kidding. Good luck DFD
