My Univ. Remote is a Radio Shack 8-in-1 LCD remote control, M# 150-0100. It can carry five digit codes, so apparantly it is quite new. It works my Sat. Receiver, DVD, and VCR. I am trying to get it to operate my TV as well. My TV is a 32" Emerson (Funai), LCD Flat Screen. M# BLC320EM9, S# J30824723, it was made in 7/08. I need the code(s) for my TV so I can use my Univ. Remote on it and all of my components. I already submitted the query about the TV code(s), but you said you needed the info. on my remote in order for you to give an answer.
Sir,
Seems
everyone is having problems with this TV. Every forum I have saw in many forum that there are no pre-programmed codes in any universal remote for
the new Emersons. You have to get a universal LEARNING remote and
program it from your old remote. Black Friday sale at Wal-mart seemed
like a great deal, but now you have to buy a $99 remote to make it work
with Direct TV, Cox or any other device....not a bargain now.
thanks
good luck
I believe that remote has a learn mode or automatic mode... put it in that mode to find the code for you.

Try this, sometimes the codes won't work or aren't up to date. Hold down the code search button until the light stays on, then press the tv, "or whichever button you plan on using for this component", then there should be the up and down channel that mine uses, press up until it catches, "you will know because the channel will change". Hope this helps you, usually once it catches you need to press another button to lock it in, mine uses mute to lock it in, take a quick look at your instruction booklet, it should tell you which one to press. This works on 2 of my universal remotes. here is a radio shack link that gives the codes http://www.rcinfo.com/152116.htm Peace, Gym
Click here to donwload the user's guide and check page # 20 for more instructions on how to program it if you have the TV's remote control.
Since your universal remote control is the one that learns the codes from the original, they gave not listed the codes for any brand.
All the universal remote controls might not have or learn all the functions as the original remotes even if they are high end devices.
Thank you for the rating.
Happy holidays.

I already have the owners manual for the Radio Shack 8-in-1 LCD M# 150-0100 univ. remote control. What I was hoping for were the TV manufacturer's code(s) so I can directly enter them into my remote. Thank you !!!
The learning function on the remote was the best part. Although I still don't know the code numbers for my records. I found that not all the functions on my original TV's remote could be learned by my universal remote replacement, but it is enough to get by.
