Question about Car Audio Receivers
I AM RETURNING 4TH TOM TOM IN 3WEEKS BACK TO WALL MART .UNIT WORKS GREAT BUT AFTER 3-4 DAYS SCREEN WONT TURN ON . I LEAVE IN TURNED OFF WHEN NOT IN USE BUT PLUGGED INTO TO CIG LIGHTER IN CAR. LAY ON FLOOR WITH TOWEL OVER IT SO NO ONE WILL SEE IT. I CANT BELIVE I GOT 4 BADS ONE IN A ROW.
When starting the vehicle, the unit gets a surge. disconnect before starting the car. If it has a cig lighter power adapter, it was not meant to stay plugged in 24-7

Blackout Mode On and Off
When the Blackout mode is turned on, the display will
turn off to reduce power consumption.
This additional power enhances the sound quality.
1 Press and hold the B.OUT button for at least 3
seconds to start the blackout mode. By doing so the
display will turn off.
If any button on the unit is pressed during the blackout mode, the
function will be displayed for 5 seconds to show the operation
before returning to Blackout mode.
To cancel the blackout mode, press and hold the
B.OUT button for at least 3 seconds.
