Zanussi ZJD 125 on a timer switch

I have a timer (Time Guard - TS800) which is rated 13amp resitive (3kW). I want to use it to control when the washing machine switches on (during an off-peak electricity supply period). Not sure how much the Zanussi draws but it comes fitted with a 13 amp fuse plug.

Zjd start light flashing

E91 indicates a communication error between the front user board and the main control board.

Unplug the appliance and take the top off.
Look at the front board and you'll a plug with lots of thin blue wires.
Unplug this and plug it back on a few times.
If you use a screwdriver to move the plug down and back onto the board you won't need to strip the facia off.
Follow the blue wires to the main board.
Unplug and plug back on a few times.

Try the machine again.

If it still fails it's likely you'll need to replace the main board and possibly the facia board too.

Zanussi 1217. when i close door and switch on

I am not a repair professional. I am just a 78 year old man who has been making his own repairs for about 50 years. Therefore the washer ID doesn't mean
anything to me. It's been about 55 years since I had experience with front load washers. However I can refer you to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good trouble shooting and repair information on front loaders. I think you'll find what you need there. Don't worry about the timer, they hardly ever go bad. Good luck with it. If I have helped you, please rate my advice on fixya.

I have a zanussi turbo dry built-in washer/dryer built-in 1200, Mod zjd . 125, and I do not know how to use it. HELP! Thanks, Cindy

Hey, Just load the washer but do not over load. These combo washer dryers are strictly for smaller loads. You should have a drawer to the left that you place the soap and softer and bleach. Set to the washer to washer. The door should lock automatically. Then set your dryer setting to the the Heat temperature that you want. 100 degrees is ok to start with. then it will adjust itself as it goes through the cycles you have set. Enjoy the machine should work. If it does not look to make sure that the door is closed all the way. Sometimes you have to open the door and reset it and shut the door or while it is closed gently push on it till you hear a small clicking noise. ENJOY YOUR WASHER DRYER COMBO

Zanussi WJS1265 start button problem

I have had this problem which was caused by a mismatch between the power supply
socket and the 13amp plug. by changing either you can see if you get a result..what was happening was as soon as any current was drawn as the machine tried to start the high resistant contact causes the voltage to fall and the programmer stops . The same effect can occur as the heating cycle starts. a good quality plug may be the answer,

hi follow this Step 1: Unplug the washer. To access the timer, remove the control knobs and the panel that covers the controls. This may be a front panel, or access may be through a panel at the back of the unit. Carefully examine the wires that connect the timer to the other parts of the washer. If the wires are loose or disconnected, try pushing them into position; they usually fit into their terminals like plugs. Use long-nosed pliers to avoid breaking the wire connections -- never pull a wire by handStep 2: To test the timer, use a VOM set to the RX1 scale. Disconnect the power leads to the timer and clip one probe of the VOM to each lead. The VOM should read zero if the timer is working. Since the timer is a multiple switch, turn it through its cycle and test each pair of terminals in turn. The meter should read zero at all of these points. If one or more readings are above zero, the timer is faulty and should be replaced.
Step 3: To replace the timer, unscrew and disconnect the old one. Install a new timer made specifically for the washing machine. If there are many wires on the timer, have a helper hold the new timer next to the old one as you work. Disconnect the old wires one at a time, connecting each corresponding new wire as you work, to make sure the connections are properly made. Or, draw a diagram showing the connections before removing the old timer. After all the wires are connected, check the connections again for correctness and screw the timer assembly into place.
thank u.......................
