My kodak printer, scanner, copier was deleted from the computor, i can't find the disk to re install it. I need information

Hi,
If i understand you correctly, you are looking for the drivers to install the printer as you have lost the disk. To resolve this issue please see steps below:

1. Verify that your computer meets the system requirements. (Please details below)
NOTE: WINDOWS XP 64-bit Operating System is not supported.

2. Disconnect your all-in-one printer from your computer.

3. Verify that you logged on to the computer using the administrator account.

4. Close all programs.

5. Download the software onto your computer.

6. Once you are on the download page click for the button that says download and save the file in your desktop.

7. Double-click the *.exe file, then follow the on-screen instructions.

8. When the installation is complete, connect your all-in-one printer to your computer.

9. Select Start > Programs > Kodak > Kodak AiO Home Center.

Installed HP4200 incorrectly and do not know how to uninstall on my mac book

-click on apple
-click on system preferences
-click on print & fax
-if you see any printers in the box, delete them. This is the part I wouldn't have done (and was weary of) if I hadn't called tech support. I think this is what makes it show up in bonjour later, because the computer sees it as "new". Who knows?!
-close out and restart the computer.
-good luck!

Printing not possible . message " print spooler service not ready"

As most people run Windows on their computer, I will describe how the printing setup works on that operating system. The *nix and Mac operating systems differ slightly in the details but verall are set up similar.
There are two parts to the print dialog box on Windows. The first of these is part of the Windows API (Application Programming Interface). The API is a set of common code pieces that are held in the various DLL (Dynamic Link Library) files that are part of the Windows operating system. Any Windows program can (and should) call the API to perform common functions such as displaying the Print Dialog box so that it will work the same way in all programs and not have different options in different places the way the print option did back in DOS program days. The Print Dialog API also provides a common interface allowing all programs access to the same set of printer drivers rather than printer manufacturers having to create driver software for their printer for each individual program that wanted to use it.
The printer drivers are the other half of the print dialog. There are several different languages that different printers understand that they use to control how the page prints (eg. PCL5 and Postscript). The printer driver instructs the Print API as to how to translate the standard internal print format that the operating system understands into the custom markup language that the specific printer understands. It also adjusts the options that the Print dialog displays to reflect the options offered by the specific printer.
An individual computer may have no printers installed, it may have one local printer, it may have access to several printers over a network, it may even be set up to print to PDF or preformatted print file. Where more than one "printer" is defined one of them is designated the default printer which means that it is the one that displays its details in the print dialog when it first appears.
The operating system keeps track of the default printer and identifies that printer to the various programs on the computer. This allows the programs to pass an extra parameter to the print API telling it to print directly to the default printer without displaying the print dialog first. Many programs have two different print options - a menu entry that displays the print dialog and a toolbar fast print button that sends direct to the default printer.okay another one is

A print spooler is software that temporarily stores print jobs on the computer hard disk or in memory until the printer is ready to print them. If you've been waiting an unusually long time for a document to print, or if you see an error message about the print spooler, spooler subsystem, or spooler resources, you might need to change and then restart the Print Spooler service on your computer.

To do this, we recommend that you save your work, and then restart the computer to restart the Print Spooler service. If you don't want to restart the computer, try these steps instead.
To change or restart the Print Spooler service

You must be logged on as an administrator to perform these steps.

  1. Open Administrative Tools by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Administrative Tools.

  2. Double-click Services. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  3. Right-click the Print Spooler service, and then click Properties.

That is the problem. How do you uninstall it? Because the Manual doesn`t give any information as to how it`s done.

Uninstalling depends on several things.
If you used "Add & Remove Programs" to install (some programs automaticly register with "Add & Remove Programs") you can just go to "Add & Remove Programs" and choose "Remove Program"
If that option isn't available, look in the programs folder for an uninstall program (often listed as "unwise")
If neither of these work you'll have to do a manual uninstall. This takes some advanced understanding or the operating system to do without risking messing up the operating system. You'll need to delete the program(s) manually then use the registry editor to remove the references to the program. Be sure to back up the entire system first and then the registry before beginning (one bad key stroke can corrupt the entire OS).
Note: I didn't give step-by-step instructions on the manual uninstall because if you don't already know how you shouldn't try.

Cant get scan picture to fit the screen

I don't know what your scanning software is like, or the image viewing software that you have as well... but I'll strongly suggest:

Get the freeware and incredibly versatile image handling program:
IrfanView

It can handle your scanning & resizing tasks very well.
Scan a picture into it and then scroll down with your mouse button and it will zoom-out as far as you want it too, or hit enter/return on the keyboard and it will display the picture only, but sized proportionally to fit your screen.
I've used this program for at least 10 years and it's continuously improved and upgraded, while still remaining totally free to download & use. It's fast, well thought out(quick keyboard shortcuts for various functions and picture-manipulation-tasks) and very easy to use.
