My USB keyboard and mouse work during BIOS setup but stop working at Windows log on. What can be done?

pick up and insert a usb keyboard with a touchpad, you can get them all day at Wal-Mart, and run your windows again. Sometime you also may have to wait up to 5 minutes to detect devices. also try using your Tab key to move around. All of this has worked for me in the past. Good Luck. Also try Safe Mode. Also try USB mouse. Good Luck.

How do i connect the mouse? Belkin Wireless comfort mouse F5l030-BGP I put the usb in and nothing happens

Insert your USB receiver into a USB port on your computer. If you are using a laptop, you'll usually find a USB port on the side. If you are using a desktop computer, it's likely located on the front or rear of the tower.

Wait for your computer to install the drivers. You'll see a progress balloon in the bottom-right corner of your desktop screen. After a minute or so, it should show "Success." If it does not, or if there is an error, visit the Belkin resource to download the drivers.

Turn the mouse over and push the switch to "On." The mouse should automatically communicate with the USB receiver. Test the mouse to determine if it has. If the mouse does not work, press the "Connect" button on the receiver and then press the "Connect" button on your mouse. The mouse should be functional.

Goodluck!

Drivers for my moterboard 1bet-nf8-v where can i get them

With the Microsoft OS's in the last few years and even all other operating systems such as Linux, Apple, Mac, and so on, a mouse driver is not usually needed.

Before the system boots, hit the key to get to the motherboard bios set up. Make sure that the activation of the mouse is on.

If you are running a version of Microsoft Windows, then the next thing to look at would be in control panel and the adjustments for the mouse. something there may be turned off.
Make sure that the mouse is plugged into the right port for the type of mouse you have.
A USB mouse may be harder to activate. If it is a Ps2 port mouse, it should be easy to start.
