Question about Canon CanoScan 8600F Flatbed Scanner
When I try to scan I get error message - "Unable to scan. Make sure that there is enough space on target disk."
I have 24.7GB available on one drive and 301GB on the other. Tried saving on both drives - same error.
I had the same problem. Solved it by going into the "CanoScan Toolbox" - "Settings" - and pressing the "Defaults" button in that panel - and then "OK" button. Afterwards everything worked fine. Hope this helps you.

Thanks guest9947. CanoScan Toolbox - Settings - Defaults solved the problem.

I went to Toolbox -> Settings and then just chose again the folder where the files are saved (I used the same one as before). It works, somehow!

I faced this problem and the root cause was it that there wasn't enough space in C drive. The scanner looks for space in C drive for temp file placement.
