Question about Motorola Mobility MOTORIZR Z3 Cellular Phone
I dropped my phone in water and after a few days, some of the keys started to work. Unfortunately, my 'send' and 'select' keys won't work. I can receive phone calls by sliding my phone open, however, i cannot make any phone calls. Please help!
When you have a device that is liquid damaged--no telling what will happen to it. You are really luck that that is the only thing that happened to it. For some people, their screens go out, the device will not connect to the network, or the whole entire phone doesnt come on and becomes short circuited and starts to smoke. If you have insurance, that is the only way to get another one for no charge. You cannot fix liquid damaged phones that have been submerged in liquids. There are many myths that say you can place your device in three cotton socks and put them in the dryer on low for 7 minutes or put your phone in a bowl of rice but you have to do that within minutes of it being exposed to liquid. If those keys dont work soon, you may need to purchase another phone because your motherboard is damaged. That is really unfortunate!
