HOW TO SET DATE & TIME

To open the USER SETTINGS MENU. Open all three of the One-touch speed dialing panels. Then press the button labeled "Data Registration".

Press the "SET" button 2 times until you see: USER SETTINGS - 1. DATE & TIME.

To open the DATE & TIME Menu. Press SET. Use the buttons on the numeric keypad to enter the current month, day, year and current time. Just enter the new numbers over the old numbers.

To set the year, enter 08, 09, etc.

Use the 24-hours format to enter the time (e.g. 1:00 p.m. would be entered as 13:00)

You can also use the cursor buttons to move the cursor without changing a number entry.

To restore previous entry, press CLEAR. Press SET to "lock in" the Date and Time.

These instructions come directly from the User's Manual.

Hope this helps.

How do I change time from pacific time to eastern time?

Check the user's guide on how to se tthe time/date. If you don't have it, you can usually bring up the settings menu and scroll through it until you get to the place where you can adjust time and date. If not, then go to the manufacturer's web site and download the manual. You'll find all you need there.

How do I change the time on a LC9000

Open the speed dial button panel/frame
press DATA REGISTRATION
press SET (to choose data reg.)
press SET (to choose User Settings)
press SET (to choose Date & Time)
Enter date & time (in 24h format)
press SET
press STOP.

By the way, here's the link to the owner's manual in PDF - rather hard to find, as Canon does not post manuals on their support site (shame!).

First the link to the manual

http://www.brother-usa.com/ModelDocuments/Consumer/Users%20Manual/UM_IntelliFax_4100e_EN_250.PDF

The date and time are set up under general set up. Under that menu there is also TONE/PULSE dial mode setting if you have accidently changed this to pulse it will cause issue. Change it to tone if you have and this will resolve the problem. Pulse is the old style phone system.

The header needs to be changed in the User soft switches under "User Settings" - Unit name and Date and Time. Settings differ slightly depending on the model. Please stipulate the model name for explicit instructions.
