3com homeconnect webcam

anybody else out there using this camera and having problems accessing it,
either with Teveo Live, Netmeeting, and or Video Impressions. It worked fine
this summer but  (until now) I haven't reinstalled it since then. (after a
reformat)  Halfway through loading the software
I was prompted to plug the camera in, and when i did, it recognised it, and
I could see an image thru the camera
on my screen. But it would not work after the was completely loaded and I
was prompted to reboot. I
have tried reloading the drivers, checked to make sure onboard usb is
enabled in the bios. I even tried enabling keyboard usb, even though my
keyboard isn't. Still no software recognises the camera. Just wondering if
anyone out there has the same or simular camera/problem, and if they know a
way to fix it.
