Question about Dell W3706MC 37 in. LCD HDTV
Hi I have a 37" lcd tv with a problem. It has a line from left to right...a bit of a hazy line. It works its way from the bottom to the top...then starts again. Tried another tv on the arial to see if it was that and the other tv is fine. Its not TOO bad on a brightly coloured pic (but still visible) but worse on a dark background. Can you HELP !!!
I agree with tvtek, problem is cable lead to set. If you use a line amplifier and it is going bad over over gaining signal, this could be the problem. Replace your cable. Multiple pieces of equipment attached to line inputs can cause a ground loop and produce same problem. Use a true line conditioner, such as a UPS for a computer to filter the AC and hook all the equipment going to set to it.

It sound as if you have a grounding problem with your antenna system. The lines sound like A.C. leakage getting through to the TV. If there is a way to connect another antenna to the TV try that and see if the lines dissapear. If they do then there is your problem, that antenna lead.
