There is a drain for your freezer that is pluged. It may be pluged with ice or dirt.Try unpluging your fridge until it is completely defrosted,4 to 5 hrs. with doors open.
if there is dirt in it it may flush out or your heater element for the defrost is not working.

Water is draining and freezing from the freezer and leaks onto the floor

This is an easy fix! First either remove the back access panel or remove the interior freezer access cover. You can reach the drainline from either side. What has happened is your evaporator drain line is clogged. You will need to use a blowdryer to thaw the ice blocking the drain line. The drain line is located at the bottom of the freezers interior back wall. All you will need is a long screwdriver/clotheshanger. Once you have thawed the line stick your screwdriver/clotheshanger and unrestrict the line. I hope I helped you.

Freezer not getting cold enough to freeze.

First culprit could be a refrigerant leak and needs to be charged. If the evaporator is frozen solid it won't push enough sub zero air to freeze. Call a trusted ac&or repair man

GE Monogram refrigerator is leaking water on the floor

At some point the freezer got too cold and the drain froze (it is a poor design with a loop in the bottom). Once this freezes it will not thaw for a long time.

Here is what I did:
  • Remove all items from freezer and let it completely thaw
  • Pull unit away from wall to access rear
  • Cut loop off drain line where it hangs in drain pan
  • Place a bare copper wire (#12 will work) through the drain line and wrap it loosely around the heating coil above drain pan
  • Enjoy

Did this 6 months ago and have not had problem since

Freezer leaking on Ge Profile

The drain is frozen over and water cannot escape when it defrosts. You will need to remove the back panel inside the freezer and run some hot water down the drain until it has thawed. Hope this helps

Two door built-in BOSCH [B36IT] fridge with bottom freezer drawer. Inside the fridge, water is leaking 2-3 times per day from the top right corner of the fridge inside wall. I believe the frequency coincides with the defrost cycles. I suspect that the drain tube or channel is clogged. So, I opened the inside panels to investigate, inserted a nylon coated steel cable into the drain hole. I pushed the cable as far as I could, probably 4-5 feet into the channel. The cable seemed to meet a solid end and could not go any further. I repeated this exercise for 2-3 times. Then, I slowly pour some water into the drain hole. After about a quarter cup of water, the water overflowed. Due to the weight and size of this fridge, I have not investigated the back of the fridge, yet. Removing the bottom drawer appears to be a very difficult task also. I plan to search and gather as much information as possible before attempting to pursue further. I watched an online video regarding a Whirlpool fridge. At the back of the fridge, the owner was showing a rubber grommet fitted on the end of the drain tube. The grommet has a very narrow slit opening, similar to a duckbill. It appears that small debris can build up and block the funnel end easily. I have some questions for the experts here: 1 Does the BOSCH fridge drain tube have a p-trap? 2 Do the BOSCH fridges also built with a similar grommet at the end of the drain tube above the drain tray? Thanks!
