I would suggeest that if you cant find where or how to replace the hose then i would call parts select customer service or call the manufactures and see if they will or can help you.
A description of the tube would be helpful if you can... material it's made of and design (straight, lots of bends etc) as well as the type(s) of fittings on each end.

Http://www.partselect.com/Electrolux-Dishwasher-Parts.htm, try here and call them. I find that talking to someone who has the knowledge will trump just trying to diagnose it yourself. This way you can not only get the part but some good advise on how to install it, good luck, Gym
If you call the site up, they know exactlly the part and will explain how to install it for you. I have found that the people who do these things like "dishwashers", know every part in most products that they sell, and as long as you are nice on the phone, most will bend over backwards to earn your business. It's to their advantage to satisfy you so that you use and recomend them. Just give them a ring and talk to the guy. They have helped me many times, even when they advised me to not do certain things, because they cost too much and were not worth fixing. Even on the chance that they didn't stock the part, they will tell you where you can get it.
the reason that you are being directed to other sites is that we cannot diagnose the problem other than what you tell us, If a regular repairman came to your home it would cot you between $200.00-250.00, to diagnose the repair get the part and install it. I think your expectations are rather high for us not being able to get a clear picture of the problem other than what you provide. What I tried to explain to you was that if you call a place that sells and repairs your specific machine. They will know what part you need and explain to you how to install the part Jim. We can only do so much through the computer screen, and even though there are many people here who I am sure have worked in the field of expertise that you request, they may not have worked on that model, as there are thousands of different models. Again I advise you to call a parts dealer and ask them the name and model number of the part. Installing this stuff is easy I did my own and I am sure that all you will need is a screwdriver. Good luck

The component is Electolux Built In Dishwasher, Model Number EDW5500DSS Serial Number AH41201968.
Any help in getting diagrams or part numbers would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim D
Unfortunately that website does NOT show the part. It is in the back left hand corner of the Electrolus Dishwasher Model EDW5500DSS.
I wonder if yoiu need to buy the tube that it is connected to the back of the dishwasher that this hose is attached to that runs through another lead.
The website gave me hoses listed as #303,#315, #317, #331 and #338 but these were not the part that I need to replace.

Jim D
I believe the part maybe #312...but I can't be for sure??? I can't believe no one who has ever owned the Electrolux EDW5500DSS never had to repair this item.
I am going to send three photos to FixYa which the first part shows where the part is located. The other two photos will be the bottom of the dishwasher that is in the middle.
Remember the broken tube/hose was in the left hand corner.
I put up the $9.99 because your site said "Technical Support, Instructions & Repair Service". So far you've only pinted me to other websites.

Jim D
