Everything runs thru Zune or Marketplace ( Developers works on HTC connector similar to Sync for WP 6* ) I am waiting for contactbook in phone (not internet outlook ). And of course a update that enables video/tv watching ( most sites with video and/or tv are now decline wathing, Flash doesnt work on WP7* )
You don't need to install any special PC suite software when connecting your HTC HD2 to your computer. Just connect it using a USB cable and you will be ask to choose the type of USB Connection that you want (Active Sync, Disk Drive or Internet Sharing).
To know more about HTC HD2, you can open this FAQ section of HTC's website.
You will need to make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft Active Sync. Download the newest version here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=9e641c34-6f7f-404d-a04b-dc09f8141141&displayLang=en
download activesync.then connect to computer usb.then click on applications to install.else if u've downloaded cab files, copy to ur pocketpc to install.
For Windows XP: You need to download the Microsoft ActiveSync from the following location: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/synchronize/activesync-download.mspx
Install it on your computer, connect the phone to computer u sing USB and ActiveSync will open up. Click on Explore button in ActiveSync and all the contents of your phone would be shown and you can copy/paste files as normal.
in windows, right click on the CD player with you cd in it. click explore and look for USB Drivers. Install the drivers and try hooking your phone up again. Try using a fast USB 2.0 port on the computer.
Connect the HTC to your desktop through USB. On the HTC: Programs >Internet Sharing. Choose USB under PC Connection. Choose My Connection (or whatever name you have given for your internet connection) under Network Connection. Click: Connect.
Of course, for this to work you must have an internet connection (GPRS or Edge) on your mobile.
You can get the programs from the htc website for the programs needed to run the device, you can get the usb program ActiveSync (preVista) from Microsoft.
