Yes. Electric burners and heating elements glow red--or bright red--when set to one of the higher settings.

Hi, It's normal especially temp degree above 200 centigraph. Temperature will cut in and out by the thermostate.

Yes this is normal for electric heating elements. Both stove top and oven electric heating elements get red when the current flows and they heat up.
