Some time last week, I unistalled some programs from my laptop.
Since then, I am no longer able to download attachments from the net.
The download actually starts but does not get saved to the system.
To which location are you trying to save the problem?
If you are trying to save it on desktop dont try it under my documents or ny location under C: drive.
This can be a virus - spyware issue so i would need information on it... also try few free tools like smithfraudfix.exe" (http://www.gur.in/j/index.php?option=com_docman&Itemid=58&task=doc_download&gid=22) or
You need to download them in safe mode and save them on ur cd drive or under my documents or C: Drive Hard Disk Drive.
To get in safe mode u need to hit the F8 key while starting the computer before the microsoft logo shows up on ur screen andstart in safe mode with networking (possible only if u not using dial up)

Unistall All the java version you have on your computer,
Restart yout computer
go to the official java website and download the last version
www.java.com
Download the program and run it
If it still dose not open get the information (Error, or whatever it does we need more detail to be able to help you
In your laptop, go to start, choose "control panel" and then click on "add or remove programs".
when the list is full, click on the name of the program you want to unistall and then choose "uninstall". That should unistall the program, sometimes a restart is required.
You can download and install the new itunes from here- Apple site
If memory serves mr right.. musicmatch jukebox is no longer supported I think it has become affiliated with yahoo.. BUT if it won't let you reinstall it, you may need to unistall it first,, either using the unistall menu OR using your control panel and add/remove programs. Then you can attempt a new installation
some programs require the disc to uninstall, if the little programs are attached to other programs you will not be able to uninstall them you can go to start/my computer/go to the program, click on the file icon, that will give you a split screen, you can then look at each detail to see if the little programs are attached to another program
Ok what you need to do is pick to where it downloads to.
When the download starts a box will appear hit save then another box will come up where it normally downloads to.
Look at where it's going to as default.
At the top of the second menu it will show you where it is going you will see:
Save in:
Then after that it's showing you where it is going.
If you want to change this click on the end of that Save in:
On the pull down menu and put it to desktop or create a folder and point it to there.
That should take care of your problem.
