Question about Polaroid FLM-3701 Television
I need to replace the LVDS cable and based on my research this TV was either manufactured by Polaroid or at the very least contains Polaroid components. Apparently there are two types of Polaroid LVDS cables, with the difference being the flat connector end. One has a black connector, the other has a white connector. I purchased a 631-030-gf321xah cable but it has the black connector which will not work on my board. I need the cable with a white connector. I'm trying to locate a part number for the LVDS cable with the white connector. Any help is greatly appreciated.

not sure if there the same but the boards inside may be.
This sounds like the problem most LCD tv's get with swelled up capacitors in the power supply board. look for circular cylinder shaped parts rapped in plastic with writting on the sides, and metal tops, if the top is rounded over, not flat, it is bad. replace them.
