STTNG A Final Unity sosDIGIInitDriver error

Installed on XP using DosBox.72. Will run if I don't end DosBox. But if I end it and try to restart the Game I get this error and won't start. Means game can't be saved and resumed later.

I am trying to run a very old game on my windows vista 64 bits but an error pops out saying: your pc has no graphics accelerator

try running it in dosbox www.dosbox.com it works for a lot of games, or it might be that your graphics card just isn't good enough, but as you say its a old game, i cant see how the graphics card would be inferior, you do have the latest drivers installed for your graphics card, don't you?

Cant run Sierra, Lighthouse: The dark Being on my laptop. i have a Vista ops. Ive tried using dosbox but cant get passed installing it using that. and i get and error 142: when just using windows

Hello, You can play the Lighthouse game on Vista / Seven by installing this software :http://www.squirtthecat.com/games/lighthouse/index.html

I used it but at one step of the game, the sounds bugs and I get an error.
So I used the DOSBOX version, installed with this link :http://www.sierrahelp.com/Files/NewInstallers/LighthouseForDOSBox.exe

I managed to install Lighthouse for Dosbox (I had the ISO, not the CD), chosing "local install", and mounting the iso on a F: virtual drive. Then I had to change a line in the dosbox.conf file :in [autoexec], old line : mount d -t cdrom -ioctl
new line : mount d F:\ -t cdrom -ioctl
Now I can play Lighthouse on Vista ok.
Good luck !

Dos Games and XP

Go to the following web page:

http://www.dosbox.com/

DOSBox is the best DOS emulator I've seen to date. There are numerous web pages available that outline how to use it with specific games. Just do a Google search for DOSBox and your game and you should be able to find all of the info you need.

Turbo c not working....16 bit ms-dos subsystem error

There have been several changes in the way programs work. Windows xp does not
allow direct access to hardware resources to protect system integrity.
However you can try a few things

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314106
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=165214
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=324767

Generaly speaking this error shows up when a program tries to use a
command.com file from an incompatible version of windows.

Alternatively login in safemode and use. it ll work fine. rate this!!
