Question about RCA Lyra RD1072 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Frozen Screen When I turn on my MP3 player, the screen reads "RCA" and nothing happens. I have pressed every button and still nothing. I tried reading my files on my PC but nothing shows up either. It was working fine last night. I have changed the batteries and still nothing. Can someone please suggest what to do? Thanks!

Re: Frozen Screen

I had this very same problem. To fix this problem you have to re-flash your RCA MP3 player with the following file: My RCA Model RD 1072a as worked fine since flashing the player with this file.

My RCA mp3 (model SC2102BK-A) is frozen. The screen displays the words "shutting down," yet nothing is moving. Help?!

MP3 players have a reset button somewhere on the chassis bigger enough for a safety pin to enter, when you find it remove the battery, next press and hold reset button down for 60 seconds until all residual charge is removed, hopefully this will solve your problem.

Frozen screen/

Try turning it off waiting 20 seconds and turning it back on. Sometimes that helps. If it doesn't, try looking in the users manual to troubleshoot the problem. Good luck.

Creative zen v problems-frozen

If a reset does not work using the reset hole, then try this: First, back up all of your music and do this: Turn off the player and disconnect it from the computer. Then press and hold the play/puse button and turn it on simultaneously. The player should be in recovery mode. Scroll down and select format (all) and let it format. Then reload all of music back onto your player and it should work like new. Hope this helps!
