JVC XV-N322 DVD Player

Player will not stay on or eject holder on it's...

posted by tidube on Mar 28, 2007

When I turn the player on it will display the "read" status and then goes off after about a second or if I press eject it will display "open" for a second and then turns off again. I have opened the case to clean all the components within sight, such as motors, links, etc. It would open and close, read, play, etc. a few times but then back to the same shutting off problem.

Is there a switch that could be bad that I may be able to replace myself or should I just buy another player? I bought this new and only paid $30 for it about a year ago.

Thanks for the guidance!

Thanks for the quick response!

And I kinda thought that's what I would hear. Time to shop around for another good buy, I guess.

Thanks,
Tim

$30 player is good for one year.
Trying to fix him will cost you more.
