When i deleted the oz instat messaging feature, i was promted to restart phone for change to take place. when i selected yes, the next screen was white with the woed reset in vey tiny tes came on the xcreen. that keeps happening each time i try to turn the phone on

You had a software malfunction and must reload the operating system/ manual delet the corrupted file. do you have blackberry desktop manager install on a computer that is handy.

i had unlocked mine.it work perfectly.which might help you find the

- reset is - back to the factory setting, using any hidden buttons and complicated "combos", removing battery for long time. - handset will warn you if this what you want to do will affect on your contacts.
Anyway for you safety you should do backup frequently.
You can retrieve any lost icons press the options or blackberry button (next to the green call button) in the pop up message munu go to show all and all icons will appear including any others you have hidden by accident
Do an ALL RESET. The only way i know of to do it is to hold the ON and Reset at the same time. Then select yes at the promt. Then wait 2 mins and take out batteries. Reinsert and turn on. it will re-format. This is the only way i know of how to ressurect it, but it deletes ALL you data.
Here are the specs for that phone, I don't think it is capable of holding pictures or music.

remove battery for 24 hours see if it resets its self right off hand this is the best i can do
and if you have a sim card take it out give a good rub down with kleenex then put back in
