What you will need to do is to open your windows media player..right click on the device there and then click on sync options..then uncheck the sync automatically option..that will prevent the device from syncing automatically..
Hope that helps
Thank you

When you plug in your iPod, it is telling you that iTunes is having a problem?
1. Uninstall iTunes from your computer. 2. Download the latest version from the website. 3. Re-install iTunes with the new version you downloaded. 4. Try plugging in your iPod now.
If that fails, plug in your iPod, and as soon as it begins syncing, cancel the sync. Restore your iPod. (You may lose all your music etc so make a backup first)

My Phillips Go Gear 8GB MP3 player wont sync music

Windows Media Player 11 ruins this player. Uninstall Windows Media Player 11, and roll back to Windows Media Player 10. Then use version 10 to sync songs to your device.

Sansa mp3 e260

Well, one way of fixing this can be to watch the files sync to your mp3 player and when it starts syncing the unwanted files, just simply press "stop sync". I think i know what you are using and i had the same problem at first. you will make a sync list and click sync but after that list if finished, it will sync the rest of the songs from your computer also, you can just wait for your wanted sync list to be finished and as soon as it begins to sync the unwanted media, just press stop. this wont harm your computer or your mp3 player.

Sandisk Sans e250 player stop working

Go ahead and do this, in case the DB is corrupted:
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx
