Re: start up Fault
This is n othing but your boot password...........try any of your password you would have mistakenly type or only one alternative is left if oyur lapyop motherboard is having a flat battery if this is removed and placed again the boot password will be diable........hope this will halp you...............sameeraryan

1.By analysing your Problem,it seems Like Screen or LCD fault,to confirm that just open lower small Panel where RAM is located just remove the RAM and replace with another One.if it is shows same problem.Deffinately screen or VGA section is faulty.
If it Covers warranty take it to the nearer Toshiba Service Centre they replace the screen or VGA faulty area free of cost.
get to the mainboard there is a jumper near the cmos battery usually shows the word (jbat) near it , try to change its position for some seconds while power is off , this way will clear cmos and set the mainboard bios to default settings. start the system hit delete or F2 to enter setup then exit saving changes.
