Problem With Picture

Looking at the video it is a possibility that the flex converter module is bad. Does this issue show up on HD channels as well as non HD? The flex converter module up-converts incomming signals to 720p or 1080i.

How long does it work for? Did you try to replace the entire convergence board to rule out bad pin amp? Sets with digital convergence should have a totally rebuilt board to diagnose this type of condition. Repost all the problems you had up to this point so we can best evaluate your problem.

I had the same issue. The screen would shrink and then expand over and over. After thrity minutes it would correct itself. 
After a few months of doing this it just broke - no sound and no videe but the power light was still on. 

I searched these forums but did not find clear instructions or kits on how to fix it. I gave up and called in a repair tech. He fixed my TV in less than 30 minutes.

I had a problem with my TV colors not lining up. One day I turned it on and the green was out of wack. I checked this message board and replaced the STK chips, bad soldering and all led to me just giving up on that and buying a whole new Convergence Board ($185). I replaced the missing silver box on the new board and I just plugged this in and though now my Green lines up okay, my red is out of whack. Is there something I am doing wrong?
Can anyone help me? Did i miss a step? Frustrated......Bruce
