I had the same problem and I tried many things to fix it. Mine started working again when I took an old speaker and turned it face down, then put the mp3 player face up on the magnet (face of MP3 away from magnet). I checked back a few days later and it was working with all (or maybe most I haven't really checked) of the files intact. I thought it might wipe out all of my files but figured that if I could get it to work again it would be worth it. This might be extreme but I tried running it out of battery which didn't work and pushing different buttons in different sequences which didn't work either. I tried pressing buttons simultaneously and for extended periods looking for some sort of reinitialization process but nothing worked....it just kept coming up with the corrupted message. I think it got corrupted when I removed it from my PC without doing the "SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE" process on my PC. I won't be doing that again. I am really glad I didn't throw the thing away! Dave

It sounds like your databasse have been corrupted..what you will need to do is to format the device using your windows media player..once your format it transfer the songs back t your device..
that should solve the problem..
I hope that helps

Hi, I would be very thankful if you help me. I have a brand new Mp3 Memorex 8590 and have added around 50 songs and it shows when playing one song on the display 1 of 1, and once the song is over, the...

It seems your new mp3 player memory is already full, you need to delete other files or songs before you added another. If it is not yet full, try to delete and reinstall other songs. Be sure the file songs you added has no error on it.
That the only things you will do, the mp3 player operate normally and trouble come as you add new songs, don't overload it, as it's built in memory will fail.
Thanks for asking.

My Sansa Clip 2GB MP3 player won't let me add any more songs to it, even though there's 1.26 GB still available. I don't want to reformat the player, cuz that'll delete the songs I already have on there. ...

Hi there..

When you say having difficulty in adding the songs in CLIP, though you have enough space. I'd kindly request you to check for the number of songs that you have added.

Because when you add as MP3 player by default its bit rate is 128kbps so you can add up to 500 songs only. Kindly have a check on it.

I have given the number of songs that can be added with related to size of MP3 player..

Size of the player :512MB 1GB 2GB 4GB 8GB 16GB 32GB
Number of songs : 125 250 500 1000 2000 4000 8000

Kindly revert if any clarifications....

I have an RCA Audiovox s2001 sports mp3 player 1 gb and can't figure out how to delete songs that happened to be already downloaded onto the player before ..makes me wonder if my player is really new, but...

All support for RCA Jet S2001 on this site:
http://support.rcaaudiovideo.com/product.aspx?product=124

When performing "Clear Mysel" in the Player Menu you will only
delete your playlist, songs added in "Add to Mysel" earlier.

For deleting files you'll have to make a connection with the computer using the transfer software from RCA, Windows Media Player 11 or the
delete method in Windows Explorer.

Hi, Well if you have deleted the songs you can not recover them in any way. What you can do is to upload new songs through your PC to your MP3 player.

Cant delete

Here's how you get it
you may have to open Windows Media Player but maybe not
a screen will come saying for you to choose either NO leave all the media on the device... or YES delete all media.
click YES but MAKE SURE you have the HOLD button on OFF. if you dont... it will not work
after it completes the task click FINISH

i tried for hours trying to figure it out and that made it work like a charm! =]
