Question about Dell Latitude C640 Notebook
I disabled the Onboard VGA through BIOS and restarting hoping my ATI video card would get some response. It still doesnt show up i think i need to change the drivers, recently installed new motherboard. I cannot get any options from using F8 and startup just keeps blank screening and giving me the 3 beeps saying no VGA detected, any other way to reset the BIOS options without seeing them? haha, thx
Sometimes after changing BIOS settings the computer will not start or will possibly give error messages similar to yours. I have at times had to remove the power source, remove the motherboard battery, and set the motherboard back to factory default settings. You also stated that you installed a new motherboard. That could also be a potential problem. If the computer has never started with the new motherboard, the new board may be defective.
