Question about M-Audio OXYGEN 8 USB Controller
New MacBook Pro, old m-audio oxygen 8, I installed the newest driver from m-audio and the computer recognizes that the device is plugged in and sees what it is. I am using it in Reason 3.0 and it realizes when the device is plugged in or not, but I am unable to get a midi signal. Sometimes when the keyboard is first turned on, I get a signal for a minute maybe before it ceases to function
I read somewhere, and it worked for me, at least in logic, that when i plugged it into a usb powered hub, it showed up in the audio/midi setup as a keystation and logic accepted its input..... when i had it plugged into the cpu direct (w/o hub) it was useless.... hope this helps....
