I've lost my remote for the recorder and it controled most of the units functions. All I need is a four digit universal remote code so I can program the gateway to another remote.

No remote codes, but:

Gateway Technical Support at 800-846-2301, Monday through Friday,
from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Central Time.

Should be able to help

Suggest you look for them on ebay - about $10 & up..

I bought a AR-230 at a cmputer show w/o the remote, and thats what I ended up doing.
