Grant me a while. Odds are you need a Vista Patch.

Ok I have been looking but am unable to find a patch. The game claims it works on Vista.

What I recommend now is you go and make sure you have fully updated your graphics and other main drivers.

Like your Graphics, DirectX, and etc.

The game is made for 32 bit system, and mine is 64 bit. what to do?

You can try and run the game in XP compatibility mode in Vista or Window 7 64 bit. run it in 32bit compatibility in XP 64bit. This is set in the icon properties.

You can also use Virtual PC or dual boot to another OD install, since the 32 bit XP can run on a 64bit system perfectly well.

It's more work but I recommend the second solution over the first. Dual booting between out productivity software and out games is unfortunately the price to pay for a good gaming experience.

I cant get creatures 2 to work on vista

Many old pc games are not compatible with vista. It may work if you right click on desktop icon click properties then click compatibility and set check the box to "run this program in compatibility mode for xp service pack 2". Hope that helped!!!

I just bought a laptop with vista64 and it wont run my everquest2 disk

I wish I could give you a fix for your problem but I cannot. The problem
may not be so much Vista itself as the still relatively poor driver support
for it. They want you to think that Vista is then end-all be-all gamer OS
but the fact is most real gamers that made the switch to Vista quickly
switched back to XP.
DIRECT X10 promises better graphics and higher FPS but this is subjective. In most cases the graphics are *slightly* better but
ONLY in games that support DirectX10. As for the speed some games get a
speed boost but the vast majority are currently seeing a loss of speed by as
much as 20 to 30 percent in some cases.

Let me be clear and say that I am not saying Vista is a bad OS, it brings
alot of great features with it, but until drivers and to a slightly lesser
extent hardware catches up with it there are going to be performance issues.
I will recommend that you dual boot XP and Vista for now. It is a very easy
thing to do if you have not done it before but if you have Vista already
installed it would involve a format of your system(unless you know how to
use some of the advanced disk partioning tools which is something I will not go into here). You simply install XP first and then when you install Vista it will detect the XP installation and configure you to dual boot.
right now there are going to be
a few annoyances for gamers using Vista and the easiest fix is generally to
dual boot and any games that do not run properly under Vista should get
installed on your XP install. Not only does this allow you to avoid
possible gaming problems in Vista but it is good for troubleshooting, if you
have the same problem under both installs then it is probably not a Vista
problem

Sims complete collection won't run on my windows vista

Hello.. The Sims collection does have some compatability issues with vista but EA has worked on it and actually it should run fine.May be any running process is conflicting with the game or you may have to update your Display drivers.
Also try using the compatability mode.Just right click on the game *.exe and select properties.then select the compatability tab and check the box "run in compatability with Win Xp[sp2]".
In adition you can check for any available patches here. http://www.electronicarts.in/search/?search=sims
