Question about Laser MP4-V970 MP3 Player
I can turn it on but it's stuck on a screen that just has an hour glass. I can't access any files or do anything with it. How do I get rid of this screen and access my files? someone please help!!
To your question about how to download music:
1. turn on the mp4 player
2. plug it into your computer's USB port
3. An icon for the folder will come up on "My Computer"
4. using Windows Media Player, select "rip" music from cd
5. in "options" just save it into your computer in mp3 format (this makes a useful backup to save time if you have probems later)
6. Then copy the folder that contains the music from your computer to your mp4 player.
7. Unplug computer, check files run on your player

Yes, these Laser players are a misery. When you turn it on, the hourglass appears. Does this happen every time or just sometimes? I've had it happen now and then, so I pressed the 'on' button firmly again and it then moved into the Laser screen. You can also try turning it off at the switch for a while and then trying again. These players are desperately fickle and it sometimes helps to transfer everything off it to your hard drive then reformat it, and start fresh. I've found this to be the best solution at times. If this doesn't help and if it's still under warranty I'd return it.
