Welcome to vista!!
first see if the maker of the camera has a vista driver for it.
if not,no problem.
buy a vista compatible "card reader"for the cameras memory stick(it's very cheap$$)
youl like it better than using the camera cord!!

Is Solution Disk Ver.31.1 or 29.0 the correct one for Canon's A95 camera? I'm using Vista on my computer.

Skip the software and drivers and use a card reader/writer. Not expensive, and no drivers needed for most newer operating systems of all kinds including Linux.

Your camera is an older one, and may not have drivers anyway for the new Windows.

Driver for Pretec DC-300 Digital Camera for Windows Vista

Try this:

Uninstall the driver (if installed). Next, put in the driver CD and browse to the setup.exe file. Right click and select properties. In the box that opens, select compatibilty tab and select the box next to "runthis program in compatibilty mode for" and select XP SP2. and install the program

Should that not work, uninstall and retry the above process, but select Windows 98 or 2000 this time..Hopefully that will work.

If it still does not work, then unfortunately, you will either have to downgrade to XP (I believe the driver works for XP) or buy a new camera altogether..

What operating system are you using? This camera is not supported for Windows Vista or Windows 7. This could be your problem. It is an older camera, you may need to just get a new one to work with Vista or 7!

I have downgraded to windows vista and need a qualcommHS USB driver

What manufacturer of computer? What model-number?
What manufacturer of motherboard? What model-number?

If the computer has a "Designed for Vista" sticker on it,
it's possible that the manufacturer did not write/release device-drivers for the "older" Windows XP operating system.

If the computer has a "Designed for Windows 7" sticker on it,
it's possible that the manufacturer did not write/release device-drivers for the "older" Windows Vista operating system.

Have you checked the manufacturer's web-site?

I have canon zr90 but it's driver is not compatible to vista, what options do i have?

According to Microsoft, the ZR90 is compatable with Vista 32 and 64 bit:

Try clicking on "free download required" on the above page; it's probably the driver update.

Hello! i own a canon s410 powershot, the camera got broken,i was given a canon a530 powershot and i want to use the software that came with s410,is that possible?my next question is about the the windows...

No, it's not likely to be compatible. The problem is that Canon did not update the drivers for many of its older cameras under the Vista operating system. So you're likely to run into problems downloading directly from the camera using the software. But there are other options, such as using an inxepensive card reader (can get them online for $2) to download your photos:

But back to your S410, what exactly is wrong with it? By chance if it's taking black, pink, or distorted pictures, please see this:

Software for Windows Vista

I'm sorry but this old camera is only supported on operating systems, windows 2000 and older, it might work on vista if you just plug it in, if not then it wont.

I'm sorry.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Can't view image using Internet Explorer 7 with Window Vista Business.

Once IP camera setup complete access can be done with any browser regardless of operating system. So even if its on Vista, XP or Linux it will be accessible. For example if Camera IP has been set as, You need to type in your browser (IE 7 will work).
If you dont have user manual you can get from the link below
