If your budget is 50k , take me with you and I'll build you a small space shuttle, lol. Get a alienware or xpx loaded to the max, I can give you a list to keep you light years ahead with that kind of budget, we are talking 2 terabites 8gigs of ddr3 SLI, extreme HD audio, even a 20 inch screen, yes thet have then starting a t 4-5 k, It is as sick asyou want it to be, multi monitors you will be the master of the universe. I worked on things like the lunar module, let me know when you want to go crazy and I'm in Peace Gym, I run 6 monitors trading from home for 10 yrs, so your talking to the right guy I traded 4x leverage options and equities, I can verify everything I say, let me know when you want to launch.

Edit photographs video

In recent years, laptops have become almost as powerful as desktops. You don't have to remain stationary when doing things such as editing photos or video. You can take your project with you. With the right combination of laptop and video editing program, you can produce professional looking videos anywhere.

Make sure your laptop is capable. Editing video is both a processor and memory heavy process. If you have a slow processor and only the minimum amount of RAM required, your video editing software may run slowly. Also, make sure you have enough hard drive memory to store your clips and renders. Choose video editing software. Most computers today will have a program installed with the operating system, such as iMovie or Windows Movie Maker, but these tend to be basic. If you want something more advanced, consider purchasing it. Consumer grade video software runs as little as $50, while professional options such as Avid Media Composer can cost thousands of dollars. Become familiar with your software. Certain video editing programs have a higher learning curve than others. If you've chosen a professional grade video editing program, such as Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composer, learning the program may be difficult, so you take a tutorial or read a manual to get acquainted with the various functions of the program. Capture your video. Connect your connection cable or SD card to your laptop. Open your video software and look for an option that says "Capture." The labeling may be different, depending on your software. For example, in Final Cut Pro, the option is "Log and Transfer." Capturing your raw footage imports it to the video editing software so it can be edited. Edit. Once you have captured your video, your clips should appear in your clip library. From there, you should be able to drag them onto the timeline, trim them, slow them down, add effects and manipulate them any way you want.

The built-in Motion Eye Camera is designed to add video functionality to many instant Messaging or video editing Software applications (such as Windows Messenger or MovieMaker). However the configuration process and support for how to set-up these individual applications is provided by the Software manufacturer, not Sony. Please contact your Yahoo Messenger support team for assistance on how to configure their Software.

TIP: Simply turning on your Computer activates that camera, so no specific
action is required to start the video services. Please note that only one
application can access the video signal at a time. If the signal is already
in use by one application, it will not be able to be detected by a second

Follow this procedure to take still image pictures with the integrated Sony Motion Eye camera.
1. On the taskbar, click Start and then click My Computer.
2. In the My Computer window, double-click the Sony Visual Communications icon.
3. In the Sony Visual Communications window, under Camera Tasks, click Take new picture.

Follow this procedure to capture video with the integrated Sony Motion Eye camera.
1. On the taskbar, click Start, point to All Programs, and then click Windows Movie Maker.
2. In the Windows Movie Maker window, on the left side under Capture Video, click Capture from video device.

How do i go about transfering vhs-c video from an

You have several options. But important one to understand is the limitations of a PIII computer like Armada e500. You may not have enough grunt to convert stuff, even after buying the necessary video capture devices which work on USB.

Also I am assuming you either have the jvc camcorder still available or atleast have a VHS-C to VHS adapter to play the tapes on a standard VHS tape player.

Unless you are having a lot tapes and need editing while converting, your better bet might be to go to one of the shops that convert these tapes on to DVD or a suitable flash drive which might work out cheaper and quicker.

The last time I did this thing (quality of my VHS-C tapes was bad) I bought a Samsung combined VHS Video / DVD recorder and used the dubbing feature to burn DVDs. Cost me about $150 a year ago. I was able to do some editing on the way as I was connected to the TV screen as well. Saved me the hassles of dealling with the PC type video capture devices and software.

NTSC to PAL

I am under the impression that your computer has a PAL video capture card. Being a laptop, it is probably built in to the mother board.

What your computer requires is an NTSC video capture card that can also handle audio as like the PAL one that is in the computer.

I would suggest you go out and get a USB type NTSC video/audio capture card. After loading the drivers and software for the new card, it should be able to accomplish your task.

Hi

U can install the windows in laptop also.. But with one condition that u do not connect the laptop to the internet.. If u want to connect means u have to turnoff the automatic updates in ur computer.. My best suggestion is u buy a laptop with preloaded OS.. Because Windows XP home edition will not support some options.. Better u buy a preloaded laptop..
