This tv has power when i turn it on but it shuts of after a second.
To diagnosed where the cause came from, first place to be done disconnect the connector that supply to the inverter board for screen back light which may have shorted line that can cause of suddenly shut off. then tried to turn on the tv with out the ballast board, if the supply from the power supply get stable and the indicator stay with out blinking that was mean the ballast board could be bad. by the way you must replaced first bulged capacitor at the power supply board. hope this can helped good luck.

This could be a main board or power board issue. replacing main board and/or power board should resolve this problem.

I had a similar problem with my 32 inch plasma tv. I called vizio's
1 800 number and the guy said to unplug the tv from the wall and hold down the power button for a minute and then plug the tv back in outlet and turn on. And it works I guess from what I understood from his heavy accent was that the tv retains power and this resets it somehow. hope that was helpfull!!
