Click here to find a lamp for your TV and use the housing from the broken lamp or you can buy the lamp that comes with the housing from this website.
If you have the user's guide, the instructions on how to replace the lamp can be found on page # 67. Here is the user's guide if you do not have it.

Good Luck.

On my Panasonic 60" plasma model no tcp60s60 there is about a 5" internal crack n I get seven blinking red lights. Will this TV ever turn on again?

No, once the screen is cracked it's not worth it to try and fix. It will end up costing more than a newer TV with better technology.

Of course it is always worth getting something checked out by a repair professional, sometimes it is surprising just how cheaply and easily a problem like this can be repaired. However make sure you take it to a company that offers free investigation and quotation, that way you will have nothing to lose.

Something worth trying that worked for me and costs nothing is; remove all leads except the power lead. Hold the on/off button on the TV in until the light stops flashing, release button and and press again. If it fires up your good to go if not your nearly finished disconnecting everything ready to send off for repair! Good luck, BTW the number of flashes indicate a fault code that you can look up online.

Inner screen is cracked, repairable?

I had one of these "DEVIL MACHINES" (with expensive add ons for Arthritis=dead 1 week after warranty.
The LED on front center blinks as a code for software and hardware failure. There are 6 boards behind screen. You can find a schematic and the WHOLE panasonic factory tech's book online at NO cost. IT'S NOT WORTH IT IN YOUR SCENEREO .I checked all over the world about this AND Sony= a lot of complaints !!
If you have a multimeter and an occiliscope you might find a bad board and get a replacement from "Shop Jimmy",,,but a replacement screenclose to a new tube!! I got myself an LG and the plasma pics have been fantastic! Good luck

Hello
Your TV is in warranty period I thinks. If so, company is liable and will repair it free fo charge. There is "repair, replace, refund gurantees. Your gurantee card and broshure will tell you that. Look at it.
For what you are going to take the risk.

I have a Panasonic 42"/46"/50" Class 1080p Plasma

This usually is a result of a failing power supply or any of the SOS circuit boards. Power supply's and boards are expensive to replace and in most cases not worth the cost to have repaired if you are out of warranty. However this is a known issue for Panasonic and I have seem them repair your model sets at no cost. So it is worth giving Panasonic a call and see if they will fix this for you. If they agree to fix it they will send a tech to your home for repairs.

Panasonic tv will not turn on, blinking 2 times

If I remember correctly, that generally means that your D board will need to be replaced. Is your tv still under warranty? If so, definitely call Panasonic to see what they can do for you. If you're out of warranty, it's still worth a shot to give them a call because some people have had luck and been helped with repair/replacement costs even though they're out of warranty.
I'm doing factual research for a potential class action suit on the blinking light problems that these Panasonic plasmas are becoming known to exhibit. I'd definitely be interested to know more about your personal experience with the television and with Panasonic, if you choose to contact them about the problem. If you'd be willing to share your story with me, please send me an email at kiaeger@levjen.com.

Green blue and red spots across screen. I changed the bulb a few months ago.

You need to contact a serviceman. Your light engine needs replaced. Panasonic requires prior tech authorization for parts order fulfillment such as this. PN: TZSC03045 It will be costly, roughly $800 with $250 core charge. Labor and trip fees are another thing altogether. I hope this helps.

Panasonic TH-42PD50U RED ON LIGHT BLINKS BUT WON'T STAY ON

Normally, when this happens, the TV goes into " Protection Mode " because of a failing circuit board. Most likely the TV has a power supply related problem. It's possible that it maybe a bad capacitor or transformer on the power supply board. The most common thing to go out on flat panel TVs is the circuit board that supply power to the screen. Commonly called a Backlight Inverter Board. But, I can't say it's 100% the problem because I can't actually look at the tv over the internet. I can only make guesses with the symptoms.

You have a few choices:

1. You can try leaving the TV unplugged for 30 minutes so the TV can reset itself.

2
. If you have some electronic experience, if you can find and purchase a Service Manual over the internet; It will help you diagnose the source of the problem and fix it by soldering in the new part. The Service Manual will give you red light blinking codes, circuit diagrams, test points, and part# lists. Usually, cost under $20. And most cases the new part cost less than $15.

3. Pay a TV shop to do the repairs. It maybe costly, but get an estimate of how much they will charge. That way you can decide if it worth repairing or replacing the whole TV.

I hope I shed some light on the subject for you.

Blue half moon shadow on top of screen

We had this same problem with our 60+ inch Hitachi. Except our tv had a red hue in the center of the tv before we replaced the bulb and then the blue hue joined the red one after the replacement. It ended up that our light engine was defective (which is an extremely common problem in Hitachi tvs). You should read through some of the forums on here to see if you can find your solution exactly (that is how I figured out my problem was our light engine). You might have the light engine problem also, but I am not sure since you don't have a red hue. Hitachi pays for the replacement light engine part (worth $1200). I just finished the process and now my tv is like new. If you want me to go more in-depth with the light engine repair process let me know.
