What I have to do if my Blackberry 7290 says "battery escape- closing
the device" and shuts down, it does not charge, I put another new
batter to see if the problem was the battery, but anything function.
Can you help me with that? What is happening with the phone?

Re: Battery escape in a Blackberry 7290
It means that your battery is not seated properly, I just searched the blackberry forums, and it seems to be common when removing the battery, unless seated properly it will deplete the charge faster than normal, I hope this helps you, thanks for using FixYa, peace Gym

This can indicate that the battery can no longer hold a sufficient charge for the device and may need to be replaced. To be sure, you can
