Well that would not be possible now as there is no way u can import mails to the webmail (yahoo in your case).
but u can prevent that from happening ..
Steps are:-
opens windows mail
click on tools > email accounts
double click on your email in the list.
Go to the last Tab (Advanced Tab)
Put a check on Leave a copy on the server. apply and ok.

How do I get my E-mail

If you installed Google Chrome, that is a web browser. Both Google and Yahoo are web based services that load on the browser. Just type in Yahoo on any browser and use like any web page.

They both also have tool bars. Same principal. gl

I can not get on yahoo messenger. why? i have downloaded messenger 10 , still nothing. could you please help me get it back? thank you

Are you having a problem of logging in to your YM (Yahoo Messenger)?

First, try to access your Yahoo Mail, to verify that your user name and password are still working.

Try to login using your user name only without the domain (@yahoo.com)

Example: Let's say your email address is john.smith@yahoo.com.

Go to www.mail.yahoo.com
Your user name should be "john.smith" only (without @yahoo.com).
Then type your password. If you can access your Yahoo Mail, then same procedure applies to Yahoo Messenger.

If same problem occur, try to access the YM in another computer, so that you can isolate the problem.

Thank you and good luck!

I can't send any attach messages

which email service provider are you using . If you are using gmail, then try to use the classic uploader , this can be done by clicking the settings tab . If you are using the yahoo mail , then revert back the yahoo mail from newer version to yahoo classic version. This can be done by navigating through Options--> Yahoo Classic.

Help needed to send questions to members on Craigslist

HI,
You should be able to go and open up Yahoo and then go in and send a message from there. Yahoo is a web based email so there is no need to set up a POP or STMS. If you can get into Yahoo just type in the email address of the craigs list person and send it that way. If you go into Craigs List and highlight their email address and then go into yahoo and paste it there you should be able to send it. The windows mail is popping up because that is set as your default mail client. Just ignore it for now and if it pops up just close it. If there is any other questions don't hesitate to ask, Best wishes.

What is the POP 3 address to send email using instead of using wi

You simple CANNOT. Windows Mail no longer supports the HTTP servers used by Yahoo! and other web-based e-mail providers. Windows Mail does not permit the use a Web-based (HTTP) e-mail account on a computer that is running Windows Vista.
For an alternative, use Windows Live Mail instead of Windows Mail

loadTOCNode(3, 'resolution'); Windows Live Mail is an e-mail program that you install on your computer. Windows Live Mail stores messages on your computer. This means that you can access, read, and compose e-mail messages even when you are not connected to the Internet.

Windows Live Mail works with popular Web-based e-mail services such as Hotmail, AOL mail, Google mail, and Yahoo! mail. Windows Live Mail is built to automatically configure many popular e-mail services.

Email set up problems

from the data you have given, me, it sounds like you are using Either Outlook, or the bundled Windows Mail service.
What is happening, is that an email your program is trying to send, an email with "test" in the subject line, but is unable to because it cannot connect to the server. looking at the string, I see several problems. make sure your settings are configured a mentioned below:
  • Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 995)
  • Outgoing (SMTP) Server: plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com (Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication)
  • Account Name/Login Name: your Yahoo! ID (your email address without the "@yahoo.com")
  • Email Address: your Yahoo! Mail address (e.g., user@yahoo.com)
If this doesn't resolve your problem, refer to this page for more information. (Note: if you do not subscribe and pay in to a "Yahoo Plus" plan, this could also pose a problem, as Yahoo does not allow you to use third-party email programs with their "free" service, as they like to restrict it to webmail only. If you want a free email service that *does* however, I strongly suggest you check out google's Gmail service [what I use])
