"A HI SPEED USB device plugged into a non HI SPEED USB hub" error message, any idea?

This is not really an error message, it?s an informative message. This is new to the Windows XP operating system. All it is telling you is that your device (MP3 player) is a USB version 2.0 or higher and the USB port is only at USB version 1.1 or less. There is nothing you can do about this unless you replace your USB ports on your computer (you really do not want to do that!).

There is really no reason to worry about anything, your device (MP3 player) will work perfect with no risk of harming your computer or device. The only problem is that your device is made to run at high speeds and the ports on your computer are lower speed ports so the only thing will happen is that your device will slow down (take longer to put songs on it) then normal. Everything else is good to go! Enjoy!

This error may occur in case you do not have the proper chipset drivers installed. Make sure after you set up your operating system that you update the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard. They should come on a CD with your motherboard. Have a look at the manufacturer's homepage for the most recent update.

The error message "A HI SPEED USB device is plugged into a non HI SPEED hub..." will appear when you plug a USB 2.0 device into a USB 1.1 port.
The device will work as it should, but you will not have USB 2.0 performance. For best performance use a USB 2.0 port.

I got the message of "Hi speed USB Drive attached to non_Hi-Speed Hub" when I plun in my Zen Microphoto MP3 Player into Window XP computer's USB port, and I am not able to connect my MP3 play to computer because of this.

What I did is while with the MP3 Player plug in, Go to device mangager and find "Creative Zen MicroPhoto" in Window Portable Devices, right click and select "update drive". I used the installation disk with Zen MicroPhoto and My problem is gone.

My mp3 player does n't allow be to delete any file from the disk. It is say write-protected. When I put on the player it's showing hold. Please suggest to remove the write protection
