Question about Vacuums
How U do that? I see the ''belt on'' ''belt off'' signs. Cleaned out vacuum given to me by my Mom and don't know how to get the belt back on. HELP!>>
Facing vacuum, turn belt lifter knob counterclockwise till it stops.Lift headlight hood, and unlatch brushead, and remove.Looking thru the hole in back, turn belt lifter knob clockwise to release belt.Remove bottom plate, and bend one end of bracket to remove end of brush roll.Slip new belt on and replace brushroll back into bracket, and replace bottom rug plate.Looking thru hole in back, turn belt lifter knob until the hook inside picks up belt.Replace brushead, and again, turn belt lifter knob clockwise to drop belt onto shaft.
