The back window defroster turns off, when it gets to hot (about an hour or so). Unless there is an electric windshield heater, all there is, is the warm air for the front heater. If the car is run on low rpm or mostly downhill, there will be not much warm air being produced since the engine does not warm up.
Another possibility is, that the thermostat for the circulation of the radiator cooling fluid does not open, either because the engine is cold or, in case the engine is warm (if the stopped engine, right after driving the car for 5 minutes, can be touched without getting burned, the engine is not getting warm), the thermostat is not working properly, or the car is low on radiator coolant liquid.
Not really a car guy, but I would say you might have a leak in your Cooling system. The Freon used by a car to cool the air is free flowing and if there is a leak then you will get warmer and warmer air as more freon leaks out. I'd go to a car shop and have them test it. Costs about $60 to test for leaks and a couple hundred to fix the leak and recharge the freon.
Processor fans are setup to nearly always blow air inward onto the heat sink that sits on top of the processor. The heat sink pulls heat off of the processor and the processor fan blows air onto the heat sink to cool the heat sink so that it can pull more heat off the processor. I would definitely set it up with the processor fan blowing inward onto the CPU. If you're experiencing overheating you can try switching it to see if that helps. Use a program such as SpeedFan to monitor your computer's temperatures.

The fan should be installed behind the bottom grill, and then it should blow air around the firebox which then exits out the top grill. Now saying that, let me explain the actual problem you will face. Because you have a open faced wood fireplace, you will not get the heat your looking for, the fire needs 400 cubic feet of air per hour and that air is taken from your opening. Also the inner box doesn't heat up enuff to produce alot of heat on the skin so if you have the fan blowing full blast, it will only cycle the air and not allow it time to heat up as it cycles around the box. I suggest turning the fan speed down so its 1/2 way on or lower, this allows the air time to heat while cycling around the box, but in the end you still won't have a good heater as the fireplace itself isn't one, you should look at having it converted to direct vent gas or ripping it out and replacing it with a airtight wood.
It sounds like a restriction in your ducting. Feel the A/C vents in the hot rooms to see if cold air is blowing out of them. If the ducts are restricted, then it is possible that the air conditioning coils are freezing up from lack of circulation. Inspect the ducts if you can to see if there is any restriction.
Note that even if you feel air coming out of the ducts, it could be ambient as opposed to cold. The best thing is to measure the air temperature coming out of the ducts. It should be around 20 degrees colder than the ambient air at the intake of the A/C.
your heater hose may have a leak or a blockage, preventing the hot water circulating. Pull off the heater hose and flush it out. Heater hose generally goes from your radiator T junction to the firewall of the vehicle. Hope this helps
