Hello. My mini excavator keeps stalling from the main boom and track drive. It won't respond very well when steering. Drives well when going downward but struggles on flat and uphill. Only steers sometimes but most often I need to work levers back & foward to get it to turn. I think the original pump has been replaced and the diesel injectors and pump have been repaired. So if anyone has any ideas it would be a big help. Regards Darren.

As you may well be aware, Kubota USA does not offer any support for your tractor. This is because that model is a "gray market" item (that has been banned for importation in 1997). Kubota initiated this legal action because the unauthorized importation, distribution and sale of Kubota "gray market" tractors by individuals or companies independent of Kubota adversely affected Kubota's reputation in the United States and with the United States consumer. Following an extensive evidentiary hearing in the Fall of 1996, the United States International Trade Commission affirmed a finding by the Administrative Law Judge that the importation, distribution and sale of these "gray market" tractors infringed upon Kubota's registered trademark, issued a General Exclusion Order prohibiting further importation, and issued various Cease and Desist Orders against the respondents. The Court of Appeals affirmed the Commission decision. Such "gray market" items typically are of inferior quality and/or workmanship.

OK you've got me tricked.
The 121-3 is a Kubota number.
If this is a mini excavator, and I own big ones, this is where I would be getting my friendly QUALIFIED mechanic to check the pressures at various points and do the trouble shooting.
could be a bad solenoid find out which on works that solenoid , make sure you are getting power to it could also be fused ck that first , cannot be to much to fix ,get a manual of it to ck the solenoid position
Hi I have the same problem,zx16hitatchi mini and I've been told it is track motor needs replacing? Or it could be a seal gone in one side of the spool valve for that track, on the hydraulic pump? Ask a local digger parts dealer for a good repair shop in your area.
