Sola SL D-104 Digital Frame Reading Flash Drive Pictures

HI, I have a SOLA SL D104 Digital Picture Frame that I am giving as a Christmas gift, I have 300 pictures on my 8GB flash drive and I can only get the frame to recognize 50. Also I can not seem to find the right setting to get this frame to stay on continous slideshow, it just quits when the pictures have all been through. Thank You

I too gave a Sola SL D-104 for Christmas with 580 pictures on an 8 GB flash drive. I had no problem with the frame reading and displaying all pictures in continuous slide show plus looping at the end and starting over. Simply use the "Slideshow" button on the remote. Perhaps there were hardware problems with the drive or the frame. My 580 .jpg photos only used about 0.9 GB, so it might be easy to try another drive for only 300 shots. Were they all .jpg formats? The frame is fussy as to file format. Hope that helps.

My Grandma was given a Coby dp700 with pictures already on it for a gift. She would like more pictures. I can get different pictures from a usb flash drive to play as long as the flash drive is plugged...

Most digital frames come with a USB cable to hook the frame directly up to a computer. When you plug in the frame, a drive should show up in your "My Computer" section (for Windows) or on your desktop (for Mac). In most cases, you just need to drag and drop the photos onto the drive.

I scanned my computer for viruses and after rapairing the damaged files i can't open my partitions because i get this error: Internet Explorer Script Error .. javascript:new...

While you did a Anti virus scanning and fixing, the anti virus software purged or corrupted one of the .bat files or probably the shell script. The file Sola.bat was not operatable and Due to this you are not able to open the partitions.

Its wise to run the Windows Xp professional CD and run a Repair to Back the files which would work.

If the disk partition has an issue, on Active drive, you wont have the OS part initialised while booting. It would say A Valid OS not found or Non Bootable Partition. Good Luck.

Need to load pictures from panditigal frame to flash drive.

Hi Doug, I'm sorry, but your pictures are stuck on the picture frame. There is no software on the unit to move them out.

Transfer pictures

Plug the frame into the usb slot on your computer. Open up the folder with your pictures on it. Then open up my computer and look for the drive that is the frame. Drag your pictures right to the frame,s drive.,

Coby DP-887 Digital Picture Frame: Unable to transfer pictures to internal memory

The Coby DP-887 does not have built in memory so one cannot "load" pictures onto it. It is a viewer in every sense of the word. If you load pictures on a flash drive or memoory stick and plug that into the Coby DP-887 then you'll be able to view pictures or video.
