Can not here no sound from my computer at all
i was going through my computer deleting things and i deleted something and now i cant hear anjything, my sound dosent work, and my harddrives beeps whenever someone signs off and on aim and i cick on something.
Sounds like you took out some drivers or other sound devices. Id recommend doing a sysytem restore from right before you started deleting "stuff". click on the start button, go to accesories, system tools, and down to system restore, click on it. A wizard should ask you to restore from a earlier time, pick the date before you deleted files and that should do it. Next time Id recommend backing up important system files before you start deleting programs and files :)

Delete both the app and its configuration profile
To delete an app and its configuration profile, follow these steps.
1.Delete the App.
·Tap and hold on the app until it jiggles.
·Then tap in the upper-left corner of the app to delete it. If you see a message that says, "Deleting this app will also delete its data," tap Delete.
2.Delete the configuration profile that came with the app.
·Go to Settings > General > Device Management, tap on the app's configuration profile.
·Then tap Delete Profile. If asked, enter your device passcode, then tap Delete.
The monitor does not need driver for the speakers to work. It sounds like you did reinstalled the soudn card driver correctly since you can now hear the sound through the headphone jack on the computer. You shoud verify that the audio cable between the PC (AUDIO LINE OUT, GREEN MINIPHONE JACK) and the AUDIO LINE IN on the monitor (Green monitpohne jack) is connected properly, if it does, then you hsould use another sound source such as MP3 player to feed the monitor to see if the amplifiers and speakers in the monitors are working OK.
Normally, deleted files from the computer can be retrieved later using the Recycle Bin. When you delete something, it doesn't really delete, it marks the file as deleted, but holds onto it until you permenantly delete it. There are a few cases where deleted files can't be retrieved later:
1. If the file is too large for the Recycle Bin, it will prompt you to permenantly delete the file.
2. If the file resides on a network device or a different computer, it will NOT go into the Recycle Bin; it will be permenantly deleted unless the remote computer/device is a server which has a "deleted items retention period" configured.
3. If you delete a file using "Shift + Delete", it will not go to the Recycle Bin; it will be permenantly deleted.
Sometimes when you delete a software that relies on your sound, it will accidently erase the sound driver. Look on the front of your computer and write down the model number of your computer. Example Dell 2400. Go to manufacturers website and click on support and drivers. Find your brand and redownload/install audio driver. Reboot and your all done!
When you scan things, it gets saved to a location on your computer as a JPG (image file). In the program you use to do the scanning it should tell you what folder it is in, it'll be something like "C:\Documents And Settings\Abc\Something\...". Or maybe "C:\Program Files\Canon\Abc\Something\blah...". Each scan is a separate image file. All you have to do is go to Start->My Computer, then navigate to the location where the files are being saved using explorer. Then select the offending image and hot delete.
Don't deleting things that aren't your scan, though. You can break your computer that way.
go to start, configuration, hardware and see if there is a yellow ! next to your sound device. Ifso, reinstall the drivers. If there is no sound device at all also reinstall the drivers and than restart. Before doing this check if your sound is not muted or set extremely low.
Sorry I don't have a solution, but the speakers have done the same with us. Power comes on, some sound like the wire shorting out, but otherwise no sound. Tried different connection wires, different computers (mac and pc) but no go on any of them. So, I also don't think it has anything to do with you deleting some files.
