Some washing machines are available with the reversible doors, but only a few of them do (and they are expensive). Most times, you would have to order the machine with the specific door opening. You can probably check with LG support for a definite answer.
Not that simple like it is on a modern refrigerator. The electrical wiring is set up for a door safety switch. That switch can probably work either door swing. The door would need to be reversed and holes cut in the dryer for the latch. The old latch would need to sealed up. It is uncertain that the metal on both sides is capable of supporting the door hinge. In any case it seems like a difficult and doomed task.
Duet dryer doors cannot be reversed for the swing. They wil only open one way. Depending on your model of washer the newers ones will allow you to reverse the door swing without a kit. The older units require a kit to reverse the washer door.
REVERSING DOOR SWING
dryer is designed so the door swing may be reversed at any time without
additional parts. Conversion is accomplished by transferring hinges to
the opposite side of the cabinet.
To change the direction of the door opening:
Open the dryer door. Remove the four hinge hole plugs from the left
side of the door opening. Place nearby for future installation. NOTE: You may need a plastic knife to help pull out the plugs. Be careful not to scratch the paint.
2. Remove the four screws that secure the door hinges to the dryer front panel (see below). NOTE: Remove one screw from each of the two hinges first. Hold the door firmly before removing the last two screws.
3. Rotate the door 180° and reinstall the door hinges to the dryer front panel with the four screws.
4. Install the four hinge hole plugs in the open screw holes on the right side of the door opening.
yes any door swing can be reversed.take a good look and you will see the screws covered up with plastic covers .the door has to be removed first but check it out and you will see its not a big job get everything ready and it can be done within 10 minutes.adrian,,,,

On these model you can only reverse the door swing on the dryer but not the washer. Alternatively, you can switch places with the washer and dryer provided the washer fill and drain hoses are long enough and there is enough room without obstructing the dryer exhaust vent .
If you want to know how to reverse the door swing on the dryer, post your model number and I will try to assist you further. Good luck!
nope sorry but all front load washers are built with a locking system on the door and that makes them impossible to change the door swing. the only thing you can do is move the washer and dryer position by getting longer hoses and venting so you can have the washer on the left and the dryer on the right.
